“Midwinter Snow” was written for my teacher and friend, Peter Motson, who can improvise for hours in the blues genre. Midwinter Snow features a reflective melody, enriched with mystery and memories through the jazzy harmonies I remember hearing Mr. Motson play. I hope you enjoy performing this special piece, and that pleasant and wonderful memories com to you as you journey through the music.
