Piano Lessons
For Intermediate and Advanced Students
Duy provides talented piano students professional instruction and performance opportunities in a supportive environment during weekly lessons and studio classes throughout the year.
The curriculum and repertoire will be specifically designed for each student.
The main repertoire given to students will focus on classical music, encompassing compositions from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Modern periods. However, Duy will be happy to provide guidance when students choose the extra music they would like to learn.
Repertoire will include both solo and ensemble music.
Lesson Overview
Technical Studies: Scales, arpeggio, exercises which promote finger strength and dexterity. (works by Czerny, Hanon, Liszt, Chopin, Dohnanyi, etc. )

Practicing at Home
Duy requires all students to practice at least 60 to 120 minutes everyday.
If the student attends the lesson without sufficient practice, the lesson will be canceled for that week without makeup.
If the student does not progress due to lack of practice, Duy will make recommendations for other options depending on each student and circumstance.
Listening assignments will be given to students as part of their music education.
What Students Need to Bring to Each lesson:
